OCEAN DAY 2008

On June 6th, 2008, over 8,000 kids converged on California's beaches to take part in the 15th Annual Kids' Adopt-A-Beach Cleanup. This year, the themes of the aerial art were:

"Kids in Action" and "Kids Care"

They removed litter and created aerial art at the following locations:

LOS ANGELES - "Kids in Action"

4,200 kids at Dockweiler State Beach.

SAN FRANCISCO - "Kids in Action"

1,400 Bay Area students at Ocean Beach.

HUMBOLDT - "Kids Care"

700 Students at the South Spit of Humboldt Bay.

ORANGE COUNTY - "Kids Care"

600 kids -Orange County, California

SAN DIEGO - "Kids Care"

1,000 kids at Oceanside City Beach.

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA - "Oceans Alive"

1200 kids - Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
